Fair Travel also takes its responsibility through a range of measures. It would hardly be sustainable or credible if we as a company wouldn’t practice what we preach. Fair Travel therefore strives to continuously improve its actions in line with its resources. We comply with the following objectives:
- All travel is being done in the most possible environmentally friendly way - all local travel is done by public transport, trips within Sweden are by train as far as possible and international travel should be done with as few flights as possible.
- Fair Travel aims keep consumption in general to a minimum in the business. Paper consumption is kept at a minimum by only printing what is necessary. All invoicing and information is being sent electronically.
- All materials consumed in the business is sorted and recycled.
- The consumption of electricity and water is kept to a minimum. All electricity is controlled by a main switch in order to avoid unnecessary consumption by stand-by functions etc.
- The electricity consumed in the business comes from environmentally certified renewable energy and all lighting consists of low-energy light-bulbs.
- Fair Travel is only collaborating and partnering with responsible companies and organizations.
- We constantly strive to challenge those who don’t share the vision and concept of being responsible.
