Busy schedule ahead with speaking gigs

Visit-Aland-160209A busy schedule with upcoming speaking gigs for Fair Travel and Jeppe Klockareson is about to commence. Within twenty-four hours the first assignment starts, with a two-day session at Frans Schartau Business Institute and the students at Sustainable Tourism Management. From tomorrow and that time onward for a fortnight the assignments keep on coming.

Next week starts off with a keynote speaking assignment on sustainable tourism development on Åland, at the Visit Åland conference “Tema: Ålands Utvecklings- & Hållbarhetsstrategi” with a return to Frans Schartau Business Institute for three days, speaking at the tourism educations TRAC Diplomerad Resekonsult and Revenue Management.

The following week takes sustainable tourism development back to Frans Schartau Business Institute to conclude a fortnight of several speaking gigs. Hope to see you all there!

Lectures and inspiration this Fall

Orsa-130912-1The Summer is still here, but after the leave it is time to get back to work and ready for a very busy Fall. It is with excitement that I wish to share the activities of Fair Travel for the coming months, which include several lectures, education sessions, inspirational presentations and workshops.

First up this week is the third TREBLE workshop, taking place at Põnka Puhketalu Guesthouse in Pärnumaa, Estonia. An opportunity for the project to share the aim and to listen to the needs of nature-based tourism companies in rural Estonia in terms of sustainability.

STU-130920-2September takes Fair Travel back to Akademi Båstad for the next class of Business Development Sustainable Tourism with three separate sessions, a visit to Helsingborg at an educational program and up to Orsa, to Scandinavian College of Travel & Tourism (SCoTT) to lecture on sustainable tourism development.

October brings the TREBLE project to its final stage with reporting on the conclusions from the 12 months of activities, which will most probably be presented at the 7th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum in Karlskrona, Sweden. The plan is for Fair Travel, as one of the partners of the project, to report the conclusions of TREBLE. Across the Baltic Sea and a visit to Lithuania for a full day workshop in Bistrampolis on the 23rd October will be the final activity for this stage of the TREBLE project.

RTN-1Fair Travel will also come to Oslo and Helsinki to represent Wilderness Explorers for two full days of sales calls and presentations. First up is Oslo on the 27th October and the on to Helsinki on the 28th October. I’m happy to meet with you to tell you more about the least visited and forgotten corner of South America!

November takes Fair Travel to London and the WTM and on to Akademi Båstad again, for a four session course on sustainable development at the Tourism & Service education, finishing in December.

Latin-America-Evening-131112-1Ongoing planning is also currently under way to bring the much appreciated Latin America Evening back to Stockholm on the 10th November this year.
